Terms and Community Standards
Use the app with honesty, care, and respect.
These terms are app-owned editable content for Rejoinery and are not a legal certification. They should be reviewed by the app owner’s legal advisor before public launch, especially for Apple App Store and Google Play submissions.
Purpose
The app helps people create seeker profiles, review possible matches, unlock selected profiles, and communicate respectfully before direct contact information is shared.
Truthful information
Users must provide information they believe is truthful and must not impersonate another person, misrepresent identity, exploit vulnerable people, or use the app for fraud, stalking, harassment, trafficking, or criminal activity.
No guaranteed match
The app can suggest plausible candidates, but it cannot guarantee that a person is the true missing family member or friend. Important decisions should be verified through careful conversation, staff-assisted review, documents, and DNA testing where appropriate.
Paid unlocks and duplicate protection
A paid unlock is intended to apply once per matched person for the paying account. If payment is completed, the profile remains listed as unlocked and should not require payment again for the same person.
Contact disclosure
Unlocking a profile does not automatically reveal private email or phone contact details. Contact information is shared only after the other person approves contact disclosure in the conversation flow.
Reports, blocks, and moderation
Users can report concerning behavior. Administrators may review suspicious activity, restrict accounts, remove content, or contact support channels when there are identity theft, abuse, fraud, or safety concerns.
Respectful communication
Conversations should be kind, patient, and non-coercive. Users must not pressure others for money, documents, private photos, addresses, phone numbers, or DNA testing outside a safe agreed process.
App stores and platform standards
The app should present clear privacy practices, account controls, reporting tools, and respectful content standards for mobile distribution. The app owner remains responsible for final legal, safety, and store-policy review.
